You may wonder what Triasima means,
Triasima refers to our investment methodology which has provided superior investment returns to our clients for close to ten years now.
Tri is a prefix of Greek and Latin origins which means “three”, and this refers to the three analytical approaches in our methodology:
fundamental, quantitative, and trend analysis.
Triad is a union or group of three and refers to the rigorous and disciplined way in which we combine our three analytical approaches to support and confirm one another to help us find great investment opportunities.
Triage is a French word used to designate an operation whereby a choice is made among alternatives, or a rank ordering of objects or actions is effected. This is the essence of choosing among various investments of unequal value and with differing expected outcomes.
As for Sima, it is derived from “Simulation” and refers to the fact we never undertake new investment mandates without first having modeled or simulated them so we can deliver superior returns. A model or a simulation is a representation of the behaviour of a system, by a set of logical and calculating rules, to approximate its processes and outcomes through an appropriate set of signals mirroring its actual conditions and conclusions.
